Sunderland

Once again I have joined the Cable Ship Sovereign and this time I am in the port of Sunderland, for those of you who don’t know where this is, it is just south of Newcastle on the English north east coast.  As it is now coming into the middle winter up here the days have been a little on the nippy side. In fact, the day I landed there had been a blizzard and the airport was closed shortly after I landed.

We had a few days of moderate weather and then it suddenly turned all cold again.  I am sure by now most of you must have seen at least one news cast extolling the woes of Heathrow Airport over the last few days but that is not really what I wanted to chat about.  I have added an album in the Work Gallery called Sunderland and as I stroll around the town I will take more pictures and update this as time progresses.  Either look in the Gallery or Click HERE for the link to the Album.
